They say
friends are a blessing in disguise and this proved so right with Purvi Beri, a Dubai based business woman
turned writer. It was the constant perseverance of her friends that inspired
Beri to chronicle her life’s experience from her diary to a book and reveal her
feat as a writer. The title of her book ‘So Be It’ is an autobiographical account
of her life’s journey
from a wild child who worked upon ascertaining her identity crisis, comparing,
seeking, withdrawing and eventually emerging in her true avatar. This book is
the tapestry of her life. As the master weaver, she has woven complex and
unique patterns into it without a blueprint to guide this debutante writer who has used her maiden name Latika
Tripathi to write the book.
Purvi Beri,
a multi faceted personality is the founder & CEO of All Directions Media in
Dubai who
provide end to end marketing solutions to clients. She has behind her18 years
of experience with leading publishing houses in India
and Dubai. Her
dexterity is not restricted just to the marketing solution; she is also trained
as a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming which has reinforced her
determination of achieving her goals. Past Life Regression, Time Line Therapy,
Hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Reiki, Numerology, Feng-Shui and
other practices based on the energy fields that surround us are few other
subjects Beri is qualified in. She does not practice all the therapies but does
keep in touch with them from time to time.
Time is a
great factor and when it is on one’s stride, Beri rebukes, one should make the
most of it and fulfill their objectives and
dreams. On being questioned if she has
plans to write another book, Beri enthuses that the response to her first book
has been tremendously encouraging and she has therefore decided to continue
writing and her next book called ‘Don’t Cry When I Die’ is already at the
Publishing house being printed.
Beri’s
first book ‘So Be It’ for the Indian edition was launched on August 29, 2009 in
Pune, Maharashtra State, India and is available all over India.
The book is published by Dhruv Publishing and distributed by India Book
Distributor. The International edition of the book published in the U.K is
available all over the world via the online bookstores like Amazon.com and
Barnes and Noble.com The book is also available at the leading bookstore
Waterston’s in London and in the stores all over the U.A.E.
Latika
Tripathi (Purvi Beri) sends out a very positive message through her book to the
readers. The book is all about hope. ‘No situation is ever worth giving up your
life for’ she asserts. When the hardships of life start to drag you down, that
is when the real test begins and the right moment to prove your mettle,
otherwise you will become invisible to the world. Beri further adds that most
of the readers who have responded relate the contents of the book to their own
life incidents and somewhere they find their own reflection in it. Life is about
showing directions and if you have made a difference to even one person in the
world, it definitely matters and makes this world a better place to live in.
